Is that gonna change the disadvantage that RDM has now, only trying it out will tell... My brd need 4 more lvls so that RDM sub can use regen HP!!! Gotta lvl up!

It is not sold at AH yet, but there are 20+ regen at AH for ~10k now, I am not gonna get it until my brd reach 42, I am not going back to my RDM until my BRD is 60!! ^^

And yes it can be casted on other PT member, which is NICE... ^^

The only thing we know is that it is not sold in stores.

Reading 2ch, nobody really knows for sure where to get it yet. Too many fake information out there... Just wait a few days ;)

so... the monster drop part is left out as "?" ?? the japanese still looks pretty much a mess to me tho :confused:

I got my regen for 8000 gil on auction house. ^_^
The cast time is exactly 6 seconds, i know from when I set my macro.

I tested and regen heals about 150-170 HP before it wears off. a really GREAT use of MP :D only 18 MP spent. Take a little time to fully heal but worth it ^^

I was in a PT with BRD and I can keep all tanks' regen on all time. so cool. We don't even have a WHM but we farmed 12,000 EXP last night in 2 hours.

Right now, the speculation is that....

1. Square forgets to add the spell to the game (lol)

2. It is dropped by some kind of "weapon" (Cause weapons can now use regen, so some kind of weapon must be able to use refresh?)

3. It is one of the rewards of the BCNMs (Burning Circle NMs)

Other things maybe to try...

- Any red mage version of goblins/yagudos/orcs/quadavs?

- Some ghost monsters/skeletons that haven't dropped magic spells before? Etemmu? Revenent? Ghast? New NM ghosts like Phantom before?

I'm searching the Japanese boards and have gone on my RDM LS. No one has been able to obtain Refresh yet.

I'm also pissed that Square has made it so difficult to obtain Refresh. Perhaps it will be easier and clearer after the patch this morning. Refresh and Regen, while nice is not the holy grail of spells for us RDMs. Not only is it 1 person at a time cast but it also uses up MP. BRD casts on all with no MP. I was in a PT last night and did not find Regen to be all that useful. Cure is much faster and preferrable.

Regen is not important to me, Refresh is, which I think was Square's idea to make it more difficult to get. With MP refresh, turn-over time will be faster (if you don't have bard in PT) if we cast it on the mages. That's more important.

I really think Refresh is going to change the way a lot of people play, and put RDM on the map (as if it's really "off" the map :rolleyes: :p ). I mean, besides BRD (and I'm not even sure about them, can somebody clarify?) RDM will now be the only class that can replenish other people's MP outside of battle. Because resting zaps TP, melee/caster hybrids are rare, but now I think they'll start to become more mainstream. No more waiting for renkei to blow out TP before resting your mana back for any WAR/WHMs or the like ... :thumbsup:

hp regen is good to put on the fisher beofre they run out makes healing them when they come back a bit easier. also at end of battles better to cast half mp cost of cure3 give more time of mp heal. I want refresh im 1000 to 40 I hope I get it by then. Also I don't knwo why you guys hate or have trouble with your reds I still get asked for pts alot I dont have to wait too long for one. And yes if there is a whm and red the red should be the one to cast the weakening spells. But I notice in my pts we have a routine going of who does what then the whm tries to beat me to it.;; doing the spells I do first. errr

refresh is dropped by a new burning circle boss, what you need to do is get 50 of those yellow coins, then trade them to somebody in selb or mhuara (i forgot which), then you get an orb, get your alliance, trade the orb to the burning circle and then everybody gets warped to fight the new nm, if you win a treasure coffer appears, i dont know if refresh is 100% garunteed but i do know that the ultimate weapon for whoever traded the orb will appear in the coffer, i only read this from someone who posted what happend when he fought the nm, i have no idea who traded the orb and what class they were, so it might only appear if a rdm trades it

and morpheus, for now its not going to change the way people play, its a level 40 spell, so even if it does make a difference people who are melee caster hybrids will still get just as few invites AND their magic wont be very strong at all, the only one i could see working would be melee/black mage, you will do just a bit of extra damage and probably alter their stats too

difficutly to get PT as RDM for me varies on time - -;;; 75% of the time, a WHM, BLM will pops up and they get into PT.... now if the PT still have 1 more space for caster/support type i normally will get into it.

the problem is, after a while people around my level will team up and leave jeuno for hunt ; ; leaving me behind....

Square rellay POs me. RDM is tough enough as it is. Refresh is may be the one spell which makes us unique and they make it near impossible to obtain. I find Regen pretty much useless. I was hoping for a Reflect spell.
