Chocobo digging

I actually haven't tryed it yet, and im not exactly sure how to go about it either ><. Can anyone tell me how to do it, and if they got any good items from it? Whadda think about it? (i put this in in-game talk since its more of a discussion, rather then just the intial question ><)

Get some vegees (ƒMƒU?[ƒ‹‚Ì–ì?Ø) at any Chocobo Stable shop.
You'll need to feed it to your chocobo every time you wanna dig with it.
When you have the vegees, use 'Dig' command (ŒŠŒ@‚è) riding on your chocobo.
You will dig out rabbish but occaxxxxlly you can dig out precious items such as Black Steel Ore (?•“S?z?j in North Gustaberg.

Also, I heard that if you link yourself to a Goblin Digger and follow them around, they will eventually do a digging motion.

Dig in the spot where they dug and apparently you will get something worthwile... (So my Japanese friends say) Anyone actually tried this? :spin:
