Thief AF 2,3, and maybe 4?

I have something to ask. I just got lvl 52 ok, I went to talk to the Galka in Upper Jeuno but he will not give me the quest. I have looked at that site you posted, but I dont know what to do any help?

Do you have the item from the Davoi coffer before you talk to the Galka? You need to have it on hand when ya do, it's fairly easily soloable.

You don't need the item until after you talk to him, he's in the armor shop if i'm not mistaken.

In order for him to speak to you. You need to:

A: have completed AF1 (dagger quest)

and

B: have at least accepted AF 2 quest (talk to nana again in windurst)


Once that's done, you can talk to him, and get the armguard from the davoi chest, and the other 2 coffer AF pieces will be obtainable as well.

What part is soloable?

Getting the item from davoi or the whole quest?

One part you are suppose to fight the NM, "Dark Spark" but i can't find any information about this NM. The Bilingual ffxi sites say a pt of 6 lvl 55s or is that just for getting the item from davoi?

as a thf/nin, i wouldn't expect many things to be soloable to me, but do you think it is for a lvl 51 or 52? or even with the help of a 51/52 blm/whm?

You can solo the coffer in davoi just use thf/whm so that you have invis or you can just buy powders from the AH just need invis down in davoi orcs only aggro to seeing you. You better watch out in davoi tho mimics will get ya.

hmm so how am i supposed to get the coffer key solo? or can i open the coffer with thf tools or skeleton key?

You can use both, I tryed with skeleton key but the mimic got me on my 2nd try. :( I'm going to get to lvl 55 then try for it some more hehe.
