Scroll Fame Question

Ok, question that hasn't been answered that I know of...

Now I know everyone says to trade the zinc 20 times to the guy in port bastok to get enough fame, for the Utsemi quest in Norg.

My question is... Can I do any quest for fame? or does it have to be this specific quest? or dosnt' it matter at all... because my friend said theres a really easy repeatible quest he's doing now, so I was wondering if i could do that one for the fame.

I'm almost positive it has to be a quest for someone that belongs to the Tenshodo guild (Dressed in NIN/SAM gear). Also.... the zinc ore quest should be repeated 30 times for safety.

o_O and how exactly am i suppose to get 150 zinc???? that'd take forever fighting worms.... and buying them... i'd almost pay as much for the scroll... >_<

There's other Tenshodo quests, but repeteable ones there's only 3.
Bring 4 Yagudo necklaces to Nanaa Mihgo.
Bring 4 Zinc Ores to the Tenshodo in Bastok.
And other one in San d'Oria that I don't know which is it.

Then there's other quests like the NIN quest, SAM quest, other quests that Nanaa gives you, the purple belt quest.. they count as Tenshodo fame, too? And if so, I think they'll add more fame than a repetition..

The quest in San d'Oria. Is it from the guy who needs bat wings? He's, uh... wearing some... dark... clothes :p . Man, can't remember what he's wearing for the life of me now. If it isn't him, I'd have no idea who it is. I've been all over San d'Oria and don't remember anyone wearing Nin/Sam gear.

Just one thing. I can't get the guy in the Brugaire Consortium to give me the quest (2: Repeat completing the quest 'A Job for the Consortium' in San d'Oria Port) again. :(

Ok, I figured it out. We San d'Orians have a bit of a disadvantage. In order to get Tenshodo fame in our city, we have to do the quest for the Brugaire Consortium where we run around town delivering things, then we have to get an airship pass and tenshodo membership so that we can do the second Brugaire quest. Now I don't have an air pass yet except for Kazham, but if a normal boat ride costs 200gil just like the Kazham ride, then the quest will cost us 400gil each time we do it.

air pass for sandoria? if so how do u qest for it?

You get the main air pass after you complete mission 10 (I think it's mission 10.)

The windurst version is the easiest imo

yea windurst seems easiest, i got alot of yagudo neclaces that I tossed to save room for giddeus key

yep, i highly reccommend the windurst mission.. some friends and i managed to get 25-30 quests done in about 5 hours tonight without having to buy necks.
