Leveling healing and enhancing magic skills??

I've been casting protect on the people in town as they run out into west or east ronfaure in sandoria to level up my Enhancing magic skill level. Is there any point in doing this? How does leveling enhancing/healing magic skills effect the spells they are under? :confused:

I'm taking a shot in the dark now but I think it has to do with how long the effect sticks or how often you suceed in casting. Also, with the elemental magic skills it effects how much damage you do and how long the DOT (damage over time) spells last. Im pretty sure that also applies to enfeebling magic. As for healing skill I think its safe to say it applies to how much you heal by. ^^

My enhancing magic started going up steadily once I got Regen. Sneak and Invisibility are pretty useful for this purpose as well. Just be a dedicated healer in your party and you shouldn't have problems levelling up those skills later on.

Healing Magic = How much your Cure goes for when you cast it (eg mine is like lvl 22 and gets 20ish at Cure 1.

Enhancing Magic = How much Protect type spells add to your defense.

Higher number, more defense. Higher number, more hp cured.
