Grrr Cd Key!!!

ok it all started when i was cruising through sites and decided to buy a cheap ffxi so i bought it i then recieved it today so i got to the stage where i have to put in my cd key so i put in my cd key and it says that its invalid.... wtf?! i typed it in right im very sure so whats the deal??

A "cheap ffxi"? Did you buy a "used" one, second-hand? Then you just fell for the oldest of all MMORPG scams. Once somebody installs the game and puts in his CD code, he effectively doesn't need the CDs and the code any longer. But they are completely useless to somebody else, as the CD code has been flagged as already used, and can't be used to open another account.

well it was second hand but im sure it was sealed...... anyway of getting a cd key? besides buying another copy

You've to buy a new copy, there's nothing else one can do.
Never buy an MMO game in 2nd hand... no matter if it seems sealed and not used...

Also, just to check, make sure all your cd key letters are in CAPS.
