That sounds like it's built into your motherboard, in other words, no, that's not going to work.
I had issues with GeForce FX cards, two different types gave me graphical glitches. Switched to a Radeon 9600, running great for me now.
If you're not sure if it'll work, download and run this program. If it doesn't run, neither will FFXI:

I'll tell it like it is....Hell no it aint good enough...i know because i have one...I suspect you have a HP Pavilion somethin or other (i have a XT 953)
You might as well try to build a new PC as I'm doin You could build a PC 10 times better than that for under $800....yea i know its alot but your gonna have to upgrade sooner or later
Here's what i plan on buildin...or somethin similar to it
Motherboard: MSI KT4 Ultra FISR $90
Case: Raidmax Scorpio $40
Memory: A stick of 512 MB DDR 333 mhz (under $100 if you look around)
Processor: AMD Athlon XP 2500+ "Barton" $90
Video Card: ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (hopefully) $200 (look around)
Add in a 40-60 Gig HD, CD/DVD drive, Screen, etc
