View Full Version : How did u guys start your game??

i need someone to please tell me how to start FFXI after clicking on GAME in the main "online" screen.

i keep getting an error after selecting the game and i wont get past it. to make things easier, i will show you an example:
(images are in order of appearance)

In the second pic notice where my cursor is, this is where i usually click so the game "should" start.
I receive 2 messages. these are the last two, the first one appears after a longloading period. the second one appears rarely. i dont know what to do but i know that after this step u can start your game. im getting to a point of giving up at the moment so please help me out!

hope i showed my problem in a better way. PLEASE HELP!

I'm very sorry about your problem, and I'm also sorry that I can't help you. I know this isn't my place, but you don't need to make 3 or 4 topics about the same thing. If someone doesn't answer it and it gets knocked off the front page or something, just give it a little bump.

My Japanese isn't perfect but it looks like its having proxy related issues (1299)

if its a proxy related issue, then how can i get past it?? any ideas??? do i have to set anythin off? or change settings??

if your going through a router, then open the ports that FFXI uses (opens and turns off the firewall for that port(s). That is what is keepin me from using MSN properly. Sorry i am of no more help.:sweat:

With the first image that you posted, it looked like you wern't even logged on properly to PlayOnline. You might want to check your login information and make sure that it's all correct.
