Which rings are better for PLD's?

Phalanx Rings (+10 Def), or those +3 VIT rings? I've seen a fair share of Paladin's at around the high 50's, and 60's use both. There is a significant price difference between the two though, but I'm really not sure which is more effective and useful.

Price of Phanl ring = 10kish
Price of Vit+3 ring = 80kish

Personally I don't know which ring is better for a PLD, but I think the price difference is there because 1 ring is from a normal treasure chest while the other is from guild only.

No this is Chr stat.

Chr stat increases the power of Provoke (Taunt). Great stat for Plds beside Vit/Def.

IMO Phalanx rings are better. Some tested out Vit and saw that 2 Vit only increased 1 def. If that is all it does than I think Vit is a waste.

Phalanx are better than Vit rings, Vit +3/4 are just harder to aquire than phalanx which explains the price increase.

the recipe to make those lvl54 rings is gold ring + jewel

to make gold ring you need 2x gold ingot so that explains the 80k'ish price.

I remember when I was PLD I alway use +VIT equipment.
But at lv65-67 I changed to DEF+10 rings and didn't see any hugh different from it.
Except some $$$ return...w
You still get a hit, and you need Cure anyway.

If I play PLD again, I'll go for +VIT for more HP recovery from Cure!

Well Phalanx Rings are easier to come by, they are chest treasure in zvahl I believe. With that said, Thf can just use keys to open the chests and get these rings or gil.

The Vit +3 (HQ:4) rings are hard because it will require you high amount of skill and a lot of gil to make one. HQ even more due to the rarity of getting HQ (1 more stat for the same lvl equipment is always great).
