Hi, I was wondering if someone could post a little chart saying at what levels dual wield gets better.
I read that when you get dual wield at level 10, it adds the delay times and multiplies it a .9 modifier for actual delay.
I wanted to know at what others levels dual wield gets better, such as is it .85 at level 20, or .8, or is the next level dual wield gets better 25 or 30....
Any information is appreciated.

Has no higher level nins kept track of this?
Even if someone doens't know an exact number for the multiplier, can they say what level dual wield gets better at. I am hoping it gets better once or twice before level 35 since nin is my sub for thf.

Sadly, the delay is always the same, it just matters what weapons your holding.

I am sure I read that one of the reasons to be a nin main is because dual wield gets better. Obviously the weapons get better so I would assume this isn't what they were talking about.

This is the info I got from some NIN topics BBS:
lv10 dual wield I x0.9
lv25 dual wield II x0.85
lv45 dual wield III x0.75
lv65 dual wield IV x0.7
The NIN AF armor with dual wield effect up should also add a 0.05 factor to it.
I still don't understand the special stat+ on the jse chest, mind translating that for me :(

dual wield effect up:
People are saying that it will add another 0.05 factor to your dual wield.
eg. lv65 ninja will have a delay of (weapon delay1 + weapon delay2)*0.65
when damaged:blazespike
Ninja are trying not to get hit, useless if you ask me.

Err, I was told from a lvl 68 NIN that the lvl 65 Dual Wield is basically like the speed of swinging one weapon, that the delay modifier isn't there anymore.
I've just now see about 3-4 formulas displayed in this one thread alone, all diff from what I've been told. Anyone have the concrete?
Oh i knew the AF chest stats. I was asking about the jse chest, it has some skill+5, I think it is throwing wepon skill but I don't remember, I may be confusing the kanjis. Also theres a hnm katana or something, also ups a skill by +3, was wondering which skill that was. I'll post the stats here for you if I can find the site. Translation much appreciated.:)

i recently got my job to THF50/NIN25 and noticed that i do not have a job trait listed as Dual Wield II- is the extra reduced delay not listed or has something been changed? When my thief is my main or my ninja i still only have Dual Wield listed....anyone know why this is?

Most of the Job Attributes are that way, Martial Arts, Max HP Boost, Clear Mind, Physical Defense Bonus, Physical Attack Bonus, etc. It just enhances the existing skill instead of giving you a new one. I have heard that Treasure Hunter II is acutally it's own skill, that'd make it a rarity.
Regarding the Blaze Spikes when hit at night... The least they could have done is make it Ice Spikes so that in the rare chance that you took a hit it had a chance of paralyzing the target. Or even shock spikes to stun it... Blaze spikes is just useless...
