I only have one person i black listed, a whm named Arwa on Rag. Kind of a long story but she/he basically destroyed my very good PT. I could of been out of Valkrum if it wasnt for this person. Oh, and she/he also added to the stereotype of EN PT's being crap because i just invited a replacment JP warrior who ended up waisting about 45min. in my PT doing basically nothing. I will never invite this person again no matter how bad i need what ever class she/he happens to be at the time. But oh well, who's been black listed by you guys?

Ok I pt'd with this guy back in the highlands when I was a lvl 12 WAR . We had another WHM in the party of 6 and he was attacking Things with us in the front. I thought "Ok whatever we got another WHM covering our back ,It's alright" . The party went well , I got a level and we went our seprate ways...

A few days later i'm now a lvl 16 WAR , pting in Valkurm . Our last whm left and the area was low on them(What's new...)here comes Megadeth and I quote..."PLZZZZZ LET ME JOIN !!!!!!" I said what the hell better then nothing...
I asked if everyone was rdy to fight gobs , they all said yes and we were off. First gob I almost die trying to save our blm , no heals whatsoever. I think "ok a minor slip up , probly f***** up his macros or sumthing". Next battle Gob Tinkerer . An IT to all of us, Half of us are in the red and I'm yelling at him to stay back and heal us what's his response to that. "I'm a battle mage , I heal myself when i'm fighting" I was like ... Give me a f****** break!. So we died ,he left the group and ran off to zone.

Ruby dropped, I got the highest roll, and he kicked me out of pt before I could get the ruby. He got the ruby and told me I wouldn't have been kicked if I didn't roll...

on Quetzalcoatl I have Kaete, Kyp, Xarian, Fluffers, Skaw, Sidhe and I just recently removed Ayuma.

Kaete, Kyp, Xarian, fluffers and Sidhe are from my old linkshell, Kaete is a psychopath, and I blisted the rest of them to stay away from her, they harassed me after I quit her LS.

Ayuma was blacklisted for a while because i thought she was a psycho too, it just turned out she didn't know what she was doign was wrong ,and all was well in the kingdom after.

Skaw is currently blocked for being the biggest asshole I've ever met.

On my new character on midgardsormr I only have one person blacklisted, and I can't remember the name offhand, but they got blacklisted for sending me tell after tell of "loser" for being level 4 with no subjob, and examining me about 40 times.

I have begun to look at my blacklist as a skill now.
and it skills up nearly everyweek.

for 1.4 years Ive played ffxi only had a blacklist skill level of 3
.
since the NA release my blacklist has skill up to level 32.
its now my highest guild skill ^^.

I blacklist for these reasons.

1)Bad rep from personal or multi LS members dealing with said person.
example illidan, Ive never Pt'ed with this mithra but from what various jp and NA players and importers have talked about I dn wanna PT with her.

2)Rude or REALLY stupid shouts.
wether they are arguing shouts or people trying to show off bescause they can abuse the /shout command.


3)Personal dealings. no explanation needed.

Noone blacklisted. Why bother? Yahoo Mail sorts out all my spam into a separate folder - I still go into it from time to time to find out if anything has been misdirected. I think blacklisting is the same deal - every turd has an encrusted diamond somewhere in it :biggrin:

yesterday night after finishing pt with my whm since no one had escape in my pt i teleported to hora to get my pt out of nest. i decided to go to sandoria to talk to the priest to finish my teleport rute quest which i have done a week ago. i saw this 2 newbie showing off their new earned smn in front of south sandoria exit... i subbed smn for my whm i got off and smned ifrt then levi then ramuh and went "D;/" and one of them msged me "at least i didn't suck jap dick to get help to do smn" too bad he logged off before i can change back to blm D;

Well i just added a new person to my blacklist, Elfo.
I'm in a PT, right. We're actaully doing very well(which is why i was upset about this) earning 150-200 a fight with vertually no down time. But after a while the PT leader gives me a /tell, mind you he didnt even try to say this is /p mode, and it says, "do you mind leaving so my friend can join". So of course i was like, wth, of course i mind. After i dedicated my time to this PT so i could level, which he didnt even give me the chanse to do, he's going to tell me that he's kicking me out so a friend could join!?! At first i thought he was just asking me if i would mind, so i replied and said yeah i kind of do. Nothing mean or rude but then he replies to that with "look, im trying to be nice about, can you please leave". It might of been a little different if i already leveled but i hadent yet. But i dont know, am i wrong here or is this a complete a-hole thing to do?

I usually /blist people who use message in their macro that they use every few seconds. Like WHM who use verbal warning everytime they use Cure...
It get anoying and its totally useless.. no one is interested to know who you Cure every 4 seconds. It just create spam and the fighters are unable to read the log to see how many TP eachothers have. Sometime people have important stuff to say during fight and you have this anoying spam, can't read at all..

I added my first person to /blist the other day!

This idiot named Lacan invited me his party, and so I went it and we head off to level. Some things drop and I lot for them, just like I have been for the last 8 months. They get really pissed at me and threaten to kick me. One of the party members calls me "greedy fuck." I tell them how no lotting is pure homosexuality and they get even more pissed. I could have predicted I'd be kicked for defending lotting but that didn't bother me much. They said it was only for rare items and I asked them "Oh really? Did square tell you that themselves?"

At this point I wasn't that mad because it felt good to defend lotting and go against them. But to make it worse when I passed him later the did a /slap emote to me. That really pissed me off and so I followed his party to LT with my RDM and tried to train some tough Orcs to him then hit Alt Tab but it didn't work. Any tips on how to do this?

Alt tabbing NEVER works, trust me, I've tried hehe... Easiest way is to know where the nearest zone is, then do a ga spell and start running at 90% of spell completion. Make sure lots of aggro monsters are around, hehe.

Yesterday it was funny when I saw 100 monsters (no joke) around one guy. Later I found out he was making a mass to kill and get the key. Anyway, I did Banishga twice and raped like 99% of them. It was SO god damn funny. It was hard casting banishga a few times because the orcs and rabbits were hitting me a lot.... -_-

Also I ran up an elevator while rabbits were chasing me and one JUMPED through the center of the elevator while it was going up.... That was so fucking hilarious I started crying.... You had to be there.

Guy in our LS was leveling in La Thiene with his Samurai and had this whole lotting issue to so left the party because it was getting rediculous. Someone who wasn't even in that party, possibly one of the members friends, started sending him tells to say how gay he was for lotting, how much of a "n00b" he was and other such nonsense. We saw that this person was in Qufim so six of us changed to our high jobs, went out and trained a bunch of Weapons, Giants and Bones to them when he promptly started apologizing profusely and saying how great we were. It was so pathetic we decided to just wipe out the enemies and spare him, and his members who didn't deserve it, the attempted MPK. If someone is leveling near a zone line it's extremely easy to do it... thats the trick, figure it out from there as it's not something I especially condone.

Hmm... I rather lot; however, if someone says no lotting, I'm fine by it. I just don't see why there's so much hassle over a crystal when the game fairly spreads it out? Mind you, if there's an item I need, I will lot because someone who may not need it may get it which is plain stupid. Yet I still don't get it if it's a crystal, which everybody wants, why just let the game do it? If I'm the leader of a party I allow lotting, and I never say lotting is gay so please don't yell at me. I just am a bit confused.

Well, I'm generous, so I don't blacklist anyone. Especially because I always want to know what people are saying. But I do keep my eyes out for the massive amount of brain-dead players I find on Fairy.

I had a WAR named Cerrynus or something. He had a friend with him, a WHM named Pipa. They trained a giant in Quifim to the Jueno zone. I tried to tell her that the giant was engaged by a party, and there were wights at the zone, but of course she keeps running. Then, after she dies, the two of them sit around for about 10 minutes, in dead silence. Finally, I ask if she needs a raise, and she says yes. Except that her HP was set in JUENO, THIRTY SECONDS AWAY. Finally I gathered the BLM, MNK and myself, and ran for the tower, and out of the blue the guy goes "bye" and disbands the entire group.

I'm not a power freak, but some people should lead and some should not. This guy definately doesn't need his own party.

Of the other people that I considered blacklisting for excessive harassment, one or two of them shaped up. But yes, lots of very rude, selfish people. Thankfully there's enough good natured, kind people to make the game worthwhile.

I B-Listed some guy when I was leveling NIN in La Theine. He was a BLM who was resting and I attacked an orc that was in his vicinity (he was still resting).

During the fight he comes up to me and says "I hope you die." But at that point in the fight, it was obvious I wouldnt die, and that I wouldnt attack an orc if I was sure I could beat it. So I just said "I wont" and he said "too bad."

I had just deleveled *ugh* to 29 in Yothoar(sp?) jungle and i decided to go buy a map in Jueno to make it easier to get to Yothoar jungle, Ninitlh tells me "hey wanna pty in quifm we have a great pt" i reply with a "No, why do you think i have anon on? =p" he replies with a "Becuase you're antisocial? noob." I remember tho, while soloing in n00b land around Windurst I think, that my monk was imply doing the regular leveling. The person said hi to me and I said "Hello!" For some reason, that galka started spouting a bunch of weird, random stuf like " 'Hello?!' That's like saying you're ghey where I'm from!" The galka continued to harrass me for a little bit, following me and trying to look bigger and stare me down. Needless to say, that guy got blacklisted.

first guy, i am still kinda nubish learning as much as i can before i get higher levels(like level 10ish) partying around la theine and some. So a great party i just had finished and we split up

well thats ok, then i get this /tell begging for help

so i look around looking for someone fighting getting ready to die...noone, noone near me really

then i ask what, so he asks for a tank, and there was 2 new people that didn't know much about party as they had just began. so i tried to teach them everything i learned from the last. turns out i kinda did alot of stuff wrong(term wise) but that basics where there. there then same guy asking me for a tank starts spaming me call me a nub. NA players are not bad...its the 12 year old NA players that should go die(i wish i new the command then


2nd, i don't care someone is talking in jp, and what not, but i keep getting a pm in jp fromt he same guy, same thing, but after the 50ish time....i learn how to use the blist:sweat:

i got this guy (dont ask me his name..), we were partying in garlaige he was BLM..
during the pt i noticed he didnt magic burst, so i just told him how to do it, and got the very familiar "i know" answer...
but since he started to mb at that time it was ok...(but he still lost coins)
when we finished our pt we went out of garlaige and crossed another pt in danger..so we helped and killed the mob, but one player of their pt still died..
our BLM siad "raise my friend or i quit PT!!!"
why did he have to say that?
anyway..i just said "go raise him yourself" /kick
then he and his friends harrased me for a few minutes..

i was in a JP PT playing as WHM, the guys were all rank 8-10 so things were shaping up well. they absolutely wanted a BLM so we decided to wait for one to show up somewhere..
after a few minutes our leader found a BLM27/WHM5.. and invited him.
so we head out in battalia to hunt gob and tiger ..leader wanted to go yutunga jungle but the BLM didnt have kazham pass..so we changed plans just for HIM. (patience point lost)
when we finally got to our lvling spot, after 15 minutes of BLM aggroing gobs ect, he didnt know how to use '@' for sneak/invisi (patience point lost)
we played for 15 minutes and the guy just said " thank you good bye" (patience coin lost)
i just told him " you cant leave like this..we just started playing"
he said " sorry got to help my brother gtg"
annoyed i told him " now you guys know why JP players say JP ONLY"
that pissed him and he said something like "fxx you" and dejoned

One day he appeared at Port Sandoria shouting things like "We bombed Hiroshima" and things like that. Climbing on the AH and shouting I've found my lucky spot, I'm the king the world. I /blist him. Oh, bittersweet destiny. The next day i'm leveling THF/WAR with another 2 friends, a WHM/WAR and a BLM. We have 2 WARs without sub and Ouluhoo was invited. So i had to remove him from blist to read what he had to say. My whm/war friend was leader and normally ask to pull some easy mobs to test how we can work out. We were lvl 12-13, and after 2-3 Hill lizards Ouluhoo says that exp sux that we should go to his camping spot. We argue for a few seconds and ok we follow him to his spot. Then I realize his spot is where ghouls spawn, I tell him and he ignores me. 30 seconds later half the party got killed by 2 ghouls. Ouluhoo blames everyone for being incompetent and after arguing for some minutes party disbands, so he's back to blist. A few days later my friends at Qufim meet Ouluhoo again. the PT leader was leaving and found Ouluhoo as replacement and switched leadership to another member. Everyone in Bastok Market was pissed and complained and replying about it with shouts. I dared to do a shout too saying. "Please listen, if you don't want to hear Gotenks, as simple as doing /blacklist add Gotenks" Moments later, no more shouts from Gotenks or people complaining about Gotenks shouts and many tells thanking me :P

Getting whole PT killed twice and kicking people without any reasons.
After a day playing with one of the coolest parties I ever had. Shame we had to disband after 6 hours playing. I join Riotx PT at Yuhtunga Jungle and lead us to his spot. We begin killing smithies and then he goes hunting and one pops right next to camp. Everyone in Pt tell Riotx about that, but 15 seconds later Riotx runs back to camp with another smithy, both add and get's 2 party members killed. We got raise and while those 2 were still weakened Riotx pulls and we get 4 dead. Party disbands and return to Kazham. Minutes later Riotx reassembled with 5 of us from the old party. We head to another spot and look for a Whm for 10-15 minutes. Aaksana whm joins and since she didn't have map I had to switch to Tourist Guide Job. Seconds later and Aaksana was just around the corner, Riotx sends tell to me and says "I feel bad about it but do you mind if i drop you". I reply "Ok, it's cool. no problem". So I got kicked and head back to Kazham to wait for another party. But ohh surprise Aaksana was right behind me and says "What's the problem with this Riotx guy, not even 20 secs in the party and I get kicked" or something like that. Right there Konietzko a Thf from the last good party, ask me and Aak to join and we slowly assemble party there. Thf, whm, rdm, drk and nin/war. The 5 of us head to Yhoator and fight a few mandras for a while. And then Azgard (war) from Riotx party ask Konietzko if he could join. Konietzko mentions Azgard wants to join but seemed weird since he's still in a party. I and Aak say that maybe he's having a hard time with Riotx party. Yup we were right, Azgard switched to our party and mentions that Riotx finally got the whole party killed twice. This party turned out to be another good one, Nin, War and Drk could do Skillchains on the fly on the first few enemies before we settle for one. Hours later Riotx sends tell to Konietzko asking if he could join our party. Luckily party was full with many hours more for leveling together and some of us even said "No, we still prefer to stay alive"

This person isn't on my blacklist (he was noobish, but not a bad guy... just has a lot to learn), but you know you're having a bad night with a party when you see the following. (Names have been changed to their respective jobs to protect the innocent and the guilty):

I only had to blacklist one peep out of all I met

His name is Bodice - lvl 15 WHM

While we were a level 13-14 party (I was leveling up my subjob) we had to get a WHM since the one that we were using had to log. So I invited the only WHM in our range looking for group who was lvl 14 named Bodice. He meets us in the spot were we were fighting crabs. Well he insisted us to kill sheep. Our puller got one that was next to camp and Bodice makes no effort to heal and when he did it drew all the hate - and gets killed in 2 hits (and levels down). We were zoning to Selbina or La Thiene. Bodice gets booted and thus got to become the first peep on my blacklist.
