View Full Version : How to take Screenshots?

Hey, I'm interested in posting or at least making some screenshots on my server midgarsormir but the problem is..... how do i do it?

I remember reading a topic on downloading some programs that will enable you to take screen shots but i cant find that post anymore so that doesnt really help...

If someone could give me a lil bit of help or at least some links to some downloads it'd be much appreciated!

Hey Galeth,

No program needed, just press Print Screen (PrtScn) on your keyboard. Press Scroll Lock to get a clean picture (it hides the menu and what not) and if you want to hide your character's name type /names.

Finally, in case you didn't know, to access your screenshots go to C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\PlayOnlineViewer\pub\h ome01\open\ScreenShots.

ermm....can i ask something?
when press PrtScn,there wont be any notication/message e.g: screenshort taken etc right? then follow by Scroll Lock..then type /names? if there is more than 1 person in the screenshort...just /names? or need to type the nick out?
But will it be possible if i only press PrtScn? will the screenshort been taken?

the order goes like this:if you want to make the name sof the characters in the game go away for a cleaner shot, type /names. Then press scroll lock, for this closes out all the windows(you must press this to take a picture). And finally, print screen.
Or you could just get a program to take pictures.

No wonder i tried to take 1 screenshort yesterday but it failed...couldn't find the screenshort...>.<

Eh..John..tks for recommand the capture pro...it seems easlier to use...just press printscrn right?
i going to try that...btw where will the screenshort save after it captured?
