A change of scenery

Well time for the 2nd entry, I started off this day with fighting some more bunnies until Stryder asked me if I wanted to go to the Dunes.

The only way to get to the Dunes from San d'Oria is by crossing the La Theine Plain, I've never been here but a quick check on the monsters showed me I shouldn't.:sweat:

Since Stryder was with me I decided to take on an Orc. I barely even did any damage to it but as long as I didn't die, an orc can stand being hit for 4 dmg.:)

Well since this was my first time to Theine, the scenery there just shocked me and I took a pic of this cliff after the battle.

We saw Pyrax and stopped to say hi. We talked for awhile and he decided he would come with us to the dunes. I was expecting any exp from our battles due to the level differences, I just wanted a change of scenery, Ronafure is oh so boring now.:)

We continued down the road until we saw a white mage from the LS EviL so we stopped to say Hi (notice we do this a lot in the game, it's just a nice thing to do really). Stryder asked her some questions about the headgear he bought, while I took a nice pic of the sunlight behing Pyrax.

Stryder finished asking his questions so we continued on the journey to the Dunes. We're not even half way there mind you and there are many strong creatures on the way. (Not that many bunnies though but they shall feel my wrath later.);) But once I saw this sunrise I had to take a pic for you guys.

I saw a Grass Funguar for the first time and checked it's level, not sure why I did this the area is way to strong for me anyway. Styder and Pyrax did most of the damage, I just attacked so I didn't look lazy.:o

After the battle, we had to rest to recover from our battle wounds. Stryder saw we were resting in a Triangle so I moved the camera to take a good pic of it, if the names weren't there you wouldn't be able to tell Pyrax and Stryder apart.:)

We finally made it to the Valkrum Dunes, this is the first time I saw sand during my time in the game so I was pretty excited, not sure why though I've seen this sand before.:biggrin:

Well we continued on and shortly after a Goblin Butcher decided to pick on us and as you can tell I was the first to die. I should've known I would but I just needed to get out of Ron. Since there were no WHM around I had to go back to San.

Shortly after returning to San, I went back to boring Ron to get some exp back. It's not a bunny but a Mouse Bat deserves to die to satisfy my anger.:angel: Here I am using my WS on it to make sure his kin knows not to mess with Averax!

The little sucker didn't go down and continued to toy with my anger. He thought he was tough and put a status effect on me, probably Silence but I'm not sure. Little did he know that this battle can only end one way, with me standing over his dead body laughing.:biggrin: Stupid flying rat....

Well after another battle with a Beetle I rested and continued on my fury. A pugil got in my way when I was walking so of course I needed to set an example for his kin not to get in the way of Averax after he has just died.:mad:

The nerve of this Pugil! He wanted to put up a good fight against me but he was better off just closing his eyes and waiting for me to strike the final blow, I might have even shown him mercy. No one shall evade the wrath of Averax! Sorry guys but I have to go somewhere I'll continue this journal when I get back, stay tuned....

I continued on my rampage over the Ron area and saw a Carrion Worm and decided he was a little to snug over there so I ran over and attacked. A sheep wanted to be in the shot so he got in my way. They are such camera hogs...

I caught up with the Sheep and beat him down for messing up my shot. This was my first sheep battle and I'm glad he wasn't too strong or I would've died a second time.:sweat: But alas when Averax is on a rampage, on one is safe!

We exchanged blow for blow, each strike greater then the last. The sheep may have been feeling confident but I gained the upperhand after I used my WS. I admit he put up a good fight, but his efforts were in vain. He's no bunny though...

When my health dropped to the critcal point, I went into a rage and all that was around me would feel my fury! The sheep's life flashed before his eyes as he struggled to stay alive. I can imagine what his life was like, spawn in, walk around, and wait to be attacked. What a dull life...

After I disposed of the sheep's rotting corpse, I clamed down a little and decided to look for a goblin fisher hoping he would drop a fishing pole. I saw this guy staring at me from a far and went over to pay him a little visit.;)

I recieved my fishing pole after one kill so that ended fast.:sweat: However I did find a bunny on the way and decided to slay the poor bastard since I was close to lvling anyway. Got to love those bunnies...

Ah finally another level and I could say goodbye to that horrid armor that had been bothering me for quite some time. Thanks Elite for the armor but it was time for it to go.:biggrin: Well that's all for now, I wonder where my adventures will lead me next? Just want to say thanks to everyone who helped me so far.:thumbsup:

actually, if you saw me was in fort ghelsba(through the LS menu), you can ask for those armor for free(except body). becoz i'm doing armor hunt at there (only applicable for lvl 7 and 10 armor).

Ah well too late now huh?:( I moved on to lvl 10 armor anyway. Also that goblin fisher wasn't that strong at the time it was around my lvl don't really remember what that was exactly probably 5-8. Thanks guys I'm going to take a trip from San to Stok soon so I'll post that if I make it.:)
