play online intall problem *sobsob*

My brother has installed playe online on his cpu and it works fine, whereas when I try to instll it on MY cpu, it doesn' t work.
The thing that happens to me is that once the play oline is installed and that I click on the shortcut, I have the play online funny music but I get a black screen and the arrox my mouse disapears I have to switch my cpu off manualy by shuttting the power off.....:( :( :( :( :(
Does anyone knows what I can do ( my graphic card is recent: it is a radeon 9600)
Please tell me beforre the 30 days are expired ^^

Did you make sure to update your video drivers to the newest version of Catalyst? The black screen is usually a sign that your drivers are out-dated. Check on www.ati.com for the drivers, install them, and you should be all set.

Here is the mesage I now get when I install FFXI, (my CD isn' t scratch and it is no copy and it works on my brother' s cpu....)
"Error 1305. Error reading from file C:ProgramFIles\Playonline\SquareEnix\FINALFANTASYX I\ROM\h\43.DAT. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it"
LOLOLOL WTF does that meeeeeeeeeeeeeeean....
I guess I' ll have to resuscribe to the 4th coming.......................
