DO you really need rank 5 to have an airship pass??

Rank5=Free Airship Pass...you can always buy one for 500k gil, but you could pay someone to rank you up for less. So basically no, you dont need rank5...but then you have to pay 500k gil which is a lot of money.

By the time you get that money, you will either be of high enough level to solo mission 10, or dead from old age. Either way, it would be the biggest waste of gil ever. Rank 5 would be much faster and easier to reach.

But for now.I'm only lvl 18 and getting Rank 5 is too far away.Some peoples told me that you have to be 35+ to reach rank 5^^;;;;;

They offered the pass for 500k for a reason. Normal people can never get that money at pre-rank 5 level. Or are stupid enough to waste money on it.

just for your information.... something you can do at your level

if you farm crystals, you probably need like 1-2 hours per stack. and depending on the type of crystals you farm, the price can be all the way from 500 a tack to 2,000

the enemies you can kill that drop gil, will give you 10-20 gil a kill. so assuming you need 1 minutes to kill and 1 minute to look for more to kill, that's 30 kill an hour and you'll make about 600 gil an hour.

the drops you can get from enemies at your level will most likely worth less than 300 gil to vendors, might worth more to players in auction house.

assuming you're doing all 3 above, kill for gils and drop and also getting crystals, you're making approximately 1,500 an hour.
500,000 gil = 333.33 hours...

Now, I have about 120 hours play time on my new character. He is now level 40Rdm, 30Whm, 20Blm and already got Rank 4. I only need about 2 more days of partying to become 45 and another 3-4 hours to complete rank 5. then boom i'll have my airship pass.

If you still choose to make money then I can only say good luck. Hope you don't quit the game and start posting how boring farming gil is

Have fun farming. You'll not only farm for airship pass. don't forget all your armors and spells and all the shit you'll need to use during your levelling too. And yes you'll have to farm for more stuff to support yourse'f with those items after you already farm for 333.33 hours.
