Where to lvl in Bastok, and finding parties.

well, as a lvl 12 hume warrior in bastok, i have trouble finding groups sometimes. i usually end up just soloing for crappy exp. is there any tips on finding groups quicker, and where should a party lvl 10-18 lvl in bastok?

head to the Pal mines, there are usually needs for parties there for a number of reasons. after you hit lv 13 or so, unless you want to go deep into the mines, head to the Highlands, and when you feel adventerous or have a good PT, the Val Dunes are also a great place to lv

If you get sick of Quadovs (and I do), see if you can form a party to go to the Highlands. If I can't find anyone in Bastok, I just go there and search the area for people looking for parties, or current existing parties. I'll just ask around if anyone needs another. I've gotten more invites than rejections that way. The search is good tool to use. At around level 13-14 go to the Dunes and stay there til about 20. Then you can go to Jeuno to get your Chocobo and start levelling in Qufim.

I was having trouble finding a decent party too. I was level 9 this morning, headed to the highlands and went solo for a while. I hit level 10 and found a party in the highlands. We went right to the dunes and pretty much fought just lizards and watched the exp shoot up. At level 12 with a decent party you should be fine in the dunes. My party was doing awesome till 1 of our white mages left, then the other left, then we were screwed :(

thanks for the replies guys. i hit lvl 13 in highlands today, tomorrow ill be looking to hit 15 in the dunes. hopfully i can, if anyone wants to group send me a tell, Tsume.
