Greetings. I've been having a blast playing the game on the Ifrit server, but I've been wondering something.

I've seen people bazaar these Tarut Cards for 99,999,999 gil. From what I understand, you get these cards from a quest in Jeuno. And you have to trade cards to get all of them, correct? I thought that maybe people did this as a joke or something, but my friend said that a Japanese friend of his gave him a card and said that they really were worth tons of money. Can anyone explain to me about them?

Thanks

No idea what they are. I bought two of them for 4 gils total plus the stupid jeuno tax which totaled up to 6 gils. Anyways, enough money talk. I still haven't found a use for these cards either. They're just in my mog house now.

I've never heard of someone selling them for actual gil, they put them in bazaar for 999,999,999 gil so that no one actually buys them, but can see that you have them in order to trade. you have to get the four cards the king, death, fool, and I forgot the name of the last one, but it's green. Trade the 4 cards to the fortune teller above the lower jueno AH to complete the quest.

You get to have your fortune read. Take someone with you to the quest-giver (Chululu) and you can have your 'compatibility' tested. Pretty worthless, but hey - a quest is a quest. Plus she gives another quest after that one, but I don't know any details on it.

Seen'em all but never got the chance to have one. and of course there's gotta be a catch if there worth 9,999,999mil +. I highly doubt anybody has that kinda money in this game so whats the point of tryin to sell them, show off? Who knows.

I didn't put an opinion, I answered his question, then you asked basically the same question which I had already answered. People put them in bazaar so that people will trade the cards with them.

i don't know how this got to this way, but putting one of those cards on bazaar for the max gils is a japanese players' way of saying "hey, i got this card, available for trade."

note that sometimes, they r just showing it off to hide the linkshell color. and due to the fact that many, if not most, japanese players have already done this quest, these days hiding the linkshell color may rather serve the major purpose. thus what i said above may not apply to all of them, but it's true that there was once that way of showing to others.
