I'd advise not to do blm/rng since blm can't use bows or guns and since rng is about accuracy and melee dmg most rngs sub war, thf or nin

It's better to start with your future subjob.

So if you want BLM to be your main job later, start whm and when you get enough lvls (and you completed your quest about subjob) , I dont really know, maybe 12 or 18lvl, switch to BLM.

your whm spells will help you greatly while you'll boost your BLM job.

Mst people start as their main job, then work ontheir sub as the need arises. I started sith my sub, and it's beena pain because all the peple I PTed with early on took the other road and left me in the dust.
