Error 4001

[Vade]

As the subject says, I'm getting this odd error 4001 whenever I try and log a character into the sever. It says at the bottom of the screen ...Downloading data... just like that and it flashes. It waits about five minutes and throws up the error saying the connection to the sever was lost.

I for the life of me have no idea what this means or how to begin to try and fix this. Can someone please explain to me what is going on and how exactly I should fix it? This should not be a happening, my computer meets the required specs if not the recommended ones. I have a dial up connection, no anitvirus soft running and no firewalls.

just outa curiosity do you use comcast?

I got this GM told me it was comcast... comcast has no idea what they are talking about.. they told to ask them what they want them to do...
