Sorry if this has been answered a hundred times already, but the search function needs the query words to be atleast 4 characters long each... Anywayz, I know these two are important for WHMs, but what does each of these attributes actually do? Thanx!

INT stats affect how powerful your BLM magic is and MND stats affect how powerful your WHM magic is. Pretty simple :)

Your magic skill levels have a much stronger impact than the basic MND or INT stats, however.
INT is not really all that useful to a White Mage. You may have some use for it if you have a Black Mage subjob, but that would all be capped at half your current level anyway.

Im jsut making a guess based on my current stats ,and maybe its jsut conindnece... but, i have been under the impression the past few days that the amnt of mp that you gain while healing per "chunk" = int.... it works for my current stats, but like i said.. it may simply be coincidence... and under my theory--- hp per 'chunk' = str... and it works with my stats...
Maybe this is true? if so - i think that mnd and int are equally important to a whm only because it takes less down time, and if healing need be during a battle, you get those extra critical '1' mp lol...

Base MP regeneration is +12 MP on the first heal tick, then +1 cumulative for each additional heal tick (i.e. 12 for first one, 13 for second, etc.)
When you get the Clear Mind trait, your base MP regeneration on the first tick improves to 15.

Everyone says that mind is important for whm. What does it do? Heal more? Do more dmg?
Someone said that the max healing for cure was 30. If it is capped, it seems absolutly useless to get more mind.
Or does it also affect other spells too?

If I am not mistaken, MND affects your MAGIC DEFENSE and how well you resist magic.
I am assuming that MND plays a roll in how well you resist things like poison, petrify, paralyze, etc., including but not limited to, your elemental resistances.
What the exact math is, simply is a mystery to me at this point. But I would think that having a high MND is useful and suitable more to a tank type character. Of course, there is nothing wrong with buffing up the white mage's defense either, especially against magic which can be rather debilitating. And the White mage gets a Job Trait that increases Magic Def and "specializes" in the MND attribute. So I take it that White Mages are "Magic Defense Specialists." :)

MND has a very (VERY) small effect on the potency of your healing spells at later levels. The "soft cap" of 30 on Cure is not absolute - in the FFXI beta, with nearly 70 MND and around 150 Healing skill, I think my level 50 WHM was casting Cure for 32 consistently. Nevertheless, after you hit 30 HP healed on Cure, it takes massive amounts of +MND to make it go up even a single point.
Having more MND is often a good thing though - it increases your chance to resist magic effects and statuses, which can otherwise spell disaster(Silence, in particular).

So basicly, I should stop wasting money on items that boost my MND and get some to boost my MP. Is that right?
