ya I decided last night to take a break for a couple days while I decide either to move to a new server or wait to see if the server becomes less populated after the world shift. I was trying to lvl in qufim and couldnt do more than 1 or 2 fights before either having to call for help or just disengaging and running off due to the load of ppl in front of the cave or by the tower bringing in monsters they couldnt handle. I had a chance to play beta and learned what to fight and what NOT to fight at my lvl but some ppl were trying to pull wights or giants that not even their full party could handle. I tried to tell some of them but they didnt listen. Our white mage died 4 times. I saw him delevel, level and delevel again and then dying myself due to a party bringing back a banshee and 2 wights towards the tower zone while I was trying talking with someone to get a raise. With all that and the lag, I became pretty frusterated. I understand everyone is still learning including myself. Overall I have met alot of great ppl on the server and have been able to join up with a couple of my beta buddies also! I hope to see you soon! Take care all

I'm a n00b in Garuda. I'm not sure what to think, because I haven't experienced both unpopulated and populated game play, so I don't know whether I would like it better @ a place like Ragnarak.

Hey all. I just started playing the game (about five days ago), but am learning quickly and would love to party up with anyone in the level 14-16 area. I'm presently a Lv. 15 Elvaan WAR w/ full scale armor and more than willing to take on VT and IT mobs. I've pretty much got the tank role down, so you mages would be safe w/ me. :biggrin:

Hey I am a lvl 15 WAR in the country of Bastock.

I don't know what a populated server is like because I have only been in Garuda. If any of the mages in Garuda aroung lvl 15 want to help me lvl up that would be great! I have alot of Japanese friends in the Garuda server but the only way I can play with them is to get on at like 5 in the morning! I need some american friends I can play with!

Well anyway I just came to this web site hoping to find some friends to talk about FFXI with.

So if anyone wants to lvl up with me im on all the time!

p.s. hey Aeynrieus how in the world did you lvl up so fast!!

Good to see some more ppl posting on here from Garuda, everyone make sure to tell your friends on Garuda to post here. Right now Im working on my Dark Knight, but maybe soon we can get something going! You like how Bastok is owning a load of the regions hehe? Anyways take care.

When do you plan on doing it?? If you talking about the Dragon for Rank 3, its capped at lvl 25, but I still have all my lvl 24 chainmail. I will just need to get a weapon and I will be good to go. Just msg me on here or msg me in game. My name is Trusty. Take care
