Axe & Key

So I make the journey all the way to Sando from Bastok... Im like cool this town is nice...

I kill an orc... He gives me an orcish axe... I check it out, its 10 damage, +2 to str, -1 mind/int and im like wow thats a nice axe for a noob monster...

And i look and it has Rare/Ex on it... So im like cool I can sell this right?

*BZZZZ* Wrong answer i can't post it in the auction wth? Can I sell it to players or do I just have to unload it to a shop for a measley 100 gil whereas someone else could likely find a nice use for it...

And part 2:

Im strolling along in a 2 person party and I get a Treasure Chest Key for Wadi. Whats in this chest? Can I sell the key? Is it worth selling the key?

Any help is appreciated... I can't seem to find a bablefish translator to this japanese description ive found for treasure chests/coffers.

Rare/Ex means you can't give it to other players, or sell it at the auction house, only to NPCs.

The Key is to a chest, you find them in the higher level areas of the wadi, they can contain Gil or items. I'm not sure but I think keys are Rare/Ex too, might be wrong tho.

That kinda sux and yes key is rare/ex...

I think the Orcish Axe is for the first San d'Oria mission. And be relieved, there were a lot more No Drop items in EverQuest (the equivalent to Ex in FFXI). Almost all quest items were No Drop.

But, if you want a good axe from San d'Oria, there's an easy quest you can do from level one.. I'll give you a hint.. it starts in Port San d'Oria. If you want a spoiler than go to a site like http://ffxi.allakhazam.com but that's up to you.
