The topic says it all. Every time i'm in town(bastok) i check by the marker crossing my fingers hoping theres some there, irregardless of price, but always i get shot down...
Does anyone know how to get these? is it a quest, conquest item, or just a rare drop.
p.s. as a monk i've noticed my overall attack delay is pretty high because of the base speed, so i try to stick with cesti... is it worth it to get the extra damage or two from monk weapons with a higher delay?

A popular 10-30 monk wep is the tropical punches, delay: 0, +1 damage, +10 accuracy, but those run 20k usually and are quite rare to be found in AH.
I was in bastok as well not finding any burning cesti, however I made the journey to Sando and they had 1 for sale, in addition to a few things I couldn't get in Bastok.
They also had fetich pieces selling for 50 gil whereas they run 600-700 apiece over in bastok (too bad you can only have one of each heh heh).
So in short, buy a few maps and make the journey to San'do... Might be worth it, might not, but you'll learn the way for when you might actually need to know it :).

Hello. I have a pair of those and I was excited when I bought them. But after fighting an enemy I was dissapointed quite a bit. I dont think they're that great. The fire damage thats added onto them only hits about 10% of the time. And it does about 2-5 fire damage. I bought them at lvl 12 and now that I'm 15 I'm STILL trying to get away from them. It's just that I cant find any new ones in the AH.
I've seen a few of those fruit punches in auction, are they worth it really? I saw the damage of them and that turned me away from them right away. But since the delay is sooo low....
Hope this info helps man :)

The fire cestis are made thru guild work. Alchemy. Check www.gamefaq.com to find out how to make em.

I bought one, and yes the infrequency got me mad, so i sold them (for more than i bought i might add  and went back to the legionare h2h wep i was using, which has more of a delay, but +1 damage, and that +1 damage is there 100% of the time not one in 30 swings like the fire...

I didn't know burning cesti was that popular. I'm using it now, but it really ain't that great at all. I bought it because it was fairly inexpensive, and the +3 accuracy really attracted me since my thf was lvl 13, only one level away from my dex rings.

wow, i wasn't aware of how infrequent those guys proc... still next time i'm in SanDO if i see a pair i'll pick 'em up at least to sell them...
Actually at the rate i've been pulling in gil for my level i might just save up and buy the fruit punches. getting done with the fetich mission early and farming out the parts I found has really been quite lucrative
