Is it possible to run there at lvl 1?? I just hit lvl 20 last night , right now my plan is to try to run to Jeuno at lvl 1 and use the mog house there to change back to lvl 20.

That way i can get my chocobo without having to worry about exp loss.

So is it possible to run there without dieing . BTW im running for bastok.

Thanks

Well it isn't impossible. I guess either way if you try to run there it will be hard. Good idea btw.

its totally possible.. i suggest buying the jueno map in bastok first.. I ran from windurst to bastok at lv 8, but i didn't have a map of jueno or bastok.. i had a friend meet me in pashok something.. right above the konschtat highlands... so he could lead me to bastok..

I hug the outer edges of the map.. don't be in too much of a rush, watch for enemies constantly.. don't get into aggro range or your dead.. only run out in the open if you can see clearly and know where you're goin, meanin if you have a map..

and good luck..

If you take the Marshlands it is more than possible. I ran through there at an early level myself while in beta.

Tigerheart,
Are you going to Jueno from Bastok ? If that's the route u r taking u dont need to swtich to a lvl job just go N. Gustaberg(the left ext), Pashhow,Rolanberry, Jueno, Watch out Marboro in Pashhow and Rolanberry aint that scary. I took this route last week and I was fine. good Luck !

I accidentally made that pilgrimage last night. It wasn't particularly hard to avoid aggros, but there were a lot of them. I actually meant to go to San d'Oria and didn't realize that there was a tunnel that isn't mapped on the Valkurm dunes that links the main section to the alcove from Konschtat :D

Once I got to Jeuno, I found out where all those high-level japanese players were "hiding." Trying to find someone to dezone me ended up being fruitless so I ended up asking the local Ochu outside if he could. Of course he obliged (by hitting me for 208 hp) and a moment later I was back in S.Gusta by the Konschtat entrance.

I really should send the Ochu a thank you note, but I'd prefer to hand-deliver it at the tip of my sword. :D So he'll have to be patient.

Well I don't really see how harder this would be really. Theres not much difference between a lv 20 and a lv 1 running in the last areas to Jeuno since you will probably die anyway if you get aggro'ed by a monster... It might takes 10 hits to the monster to kill you but you will still die, being lv20 just help you run away for a few more seconds :p

it's very possible to make the run at any level, just be very, VERY careful. A tip I can offer is, thankfully this game gave monsters line of sight, so stay behind them if you have to sneak by. the trip is pretty uneventful untill the Marshes, where I recomend you stick to the roads, and when you get to Rolanberry fields, stay off the road and watch out for Quadavs.

Thats a good idea to avoid XP loss =) Good luck on the journey.

Oh yeah, and enjoy the 5+ hour chocobo licence mission =P

I ran from Windurst to Jeuno without a Jeuno map at level 8. It was pretty boring, actually. I stayed on the roads cause it was quicker to cut directly through the zones. The only place I was kind of nervous about was that zone just outside Jeuno. The Yagudo there were pretty tough (people with AF were outside Jeuno killing them) and I didn't have a map. Although I made it fine. Watching the airships fly into Jeuno was pretty breathtaking.

I ended up dieing in that zone just outside La Theine by a Goblin Digger. Doh!
