the guild is in bastok right? i want to start making potions at my lvl (14) so i have a better chance to solo even and tough matchs. also, im not a beastmaster so is there a way i could use a chocobo (sp?)? oh and one more thing, its way cheaper to make the potions right? thats what i heard....

yes, the Alchemist guild is in Bastok.

the level of your craftskills is independent of your job level.

im not a beastmaster so is there a way i could use a chocobo (sp?)?
you must complete a quest after you get to level 20 to ride the Chocobo.

oh and one more thing, its way cheaper to make the potions right?
Potions are a bit expensive, i do not know what level your Alchemist skill needs to be to make potions, nor the ingredients to do so. Depending on how difficult the necessary ingredients are to find, it may be easier to just buy the potions.
