Anyone used these guys to get theirs? If so, have you received? Just trying to get a feel for who has and hasn't.
Shipment of mine is still pending. :sweat: Placed order on 30th October. :rolleyes:

I ordered on 28th and its been dispatched. Anyone imported before been taxed?
PS it was dispatched sunday.

I ordered from importmadness on the 26th and im still pending so i'v cancelled; as soon as they send back a conformation e-mail,which probably won't happen lol.
I'm ordering from http://www.newageconsoles.com/ their store is based in the UK and it has next day delivery for people in the UK.
Import madness never reply to their e-mails too!
I might do the very same, Kegal. If they're based in England, and 1 day delivery, that sounds pretty good!
I would just be afraid of not being able to cancel. Is it too late to cancel? Did you just send an email to their cancel address? I've never imported stuff before. :(

i heard they only reply to cancelation e-mails, i'm just hoping for the best.
I sent an e-mail at about 5pm uk time to cancel my order; all i said was can i cancel my order and gave them the product and order number.
Newageconolses do next day delivery if you order before 5pm, also you don't have to pay import tax, i think you do when ordering from importmadness.
Some idiot recommended importmadness to me.

Do you know if ImportMadness have a phone number? I would much rather talk to them in person but i can't find their number on the website.
I don't know of a phone number, sorry. I sent my cancellation email too. I actually sent a sort of query email earlier today, but nothing back. So yeah, just sent a cancel email with same info you did basically. Got to remember that they're about 6-7 hours behind too I guess. But somewhen tomorrow I'll put in an order at this other place you've found.
Also, if I get anything back from IM I'll let you know here. I sent my cancel email twice.. :o Only because first time it didn't copy to my sent folder. Oh well, maybe that will help anyway. :biggrin: They don't seem to have charged my CC yet, so there's still a chance to cancel it seems. :)
Well looks like you were right. They read my cancel email quite fast. I got one back saying "Done!"
But it's only now that on closer inspection, that I realise I *have* been charged for the game and stuff on my credit card.
I placed the order on the 30th October, got charged the cost on the 31st, and cancelled my order today on the 4th November, because it still said pending, nor had I received an email saying it had shipped (which is supposed to happen if it does get shipped).
So hopefully I'm not going to lose money here. I'm a bit new to this .. argh. :o I sent one last email asking about that.
Tomorrow I'll look into newageconsoles for my order, but I'm worried about this payment to IM sitting on my credit card bill. Don't want to pay for game twice.. How does this usually work when cancelling?

Guess it sound stupid, but I checked on the newageconsoles, and wanting to buy one, however the picture looks to me like the JP version, because there are small writing of FF in Japanese under the title. Please tell me I am just thinking too much.

dragodragonhart, I think you're reading too much into it. They'd have very little reason to sell that version in the UK. Besides I'm pretty sure someone from this forum physically went into the shop and bought it from there. They posted about it, but I don't remember which thread.

Well I just got an email from ImportMadness, saying that it has shiped here is some of the info from that said email:

and so they have only just sent it out today *sighs* better later than never tho eh?. Anyway good luck to all of you getting your copys from them.
I am bit worried. They've charged my card but never said they had shipped (still pending, and never got the email) so now my order cancelled okay, but I've still been charged (I think it was on the 3rd). :sweat:
I hear what you are saying Lily, it does not seem to be in there policie to only charge once XXXX game/console has been shiped which is more than a tad annoying as I am sure all of there user base knows (or what is left of it lol). I also had my money taken out a day after I placed my order with them ( I placed mine on the 29th of last month ).
What I would do is send them an email (better make that 2-3) asking them when the money will be back in your account and if you have no luck by the end of the week send them yet another email but this time stateing you are looking into legal action that should get them moveing lol.

I will. Thx for the advice Aura. :) It would be nice to hear if anyone else has been in this predicament. Hate having to do this sort of stuff. :(
Update..
After sending about 3 emails to IM over the last 2-3 days and on the last one saying that I had not gotten a response and that I was letting my cc company know about it, they replied back and have refunded the bill. So that's all good now.
Additionally, I received my copy this morning from Newageconsoles, so I'll be installing that tonight. :spin:

That is good Lily, I bought one for me brother from Newageconsoles and it has arrived yesterday, but since me JP version is not working anymore, I need to buy another one from Newageconcoles. hope they are not out of stock, good luck Lily
