LOL. Yes I am on rag server and somehow, we lost the Region of South Gustanberg AND North Gustanberg.... >_> Even the outpost to the north have gotten destroyed. They Beastmen has overran the entire RegionXD We cant' collect Crystals anymore.

Anyway I am not sure if any of you guys realize you need to get SIGNET cast on you so you can help you country expand. >_> If you don't Forging and stuff will be very hard to do. So Sign up and drive the best men off, and most importantly...DON"T DIE...you die it counts for them...

S. and N. Gutsenburg is all we have, but me and some friends took over the Kunscant Plains, and are working on the Valkrum Dunes and the Marshes.

Soon, Bastok shall rule the world on our server, and even more when NvN is started. We Bastokians have a wide range of classes amd races, and San has mostly elvaan fighters and windurst has mostly Tarutaru mages. We have the advantage! Hahahaha!

And we are already takeing land back, bit by bit. This weekend, Gunseg, then we have an alliance, full alliance, that is camping in San soil to bring it to THEM. :p

I'm joining them and trying to make another alliance,lol. Be afraid.

Us Bastokians are in last on Phoenix as well. We do have both N. & S. Gustaburg and the Highlands. But, that is just about it. We need to change that!

It's all of us n00bs who keep dying. We have lost S and N Gustaberg on Fenrir too although it looks like we are close to getting them back. I am pretty sure the auction houses are out of crystals at this point. I assume the importers and JP players are going nuts at the moment... or farming crystals elsewhere.

Yeah,lol. Well, you have to work to make a difference. Wonder what they will think once all of the area around San belongs to Bastok. We've even inspired some higher jap guys to care,and start working on higher areas. >.> Beware, the change is coming on Qeuzecoctl. Anyone there, please help and stop getting killed! i believe i got signet casted on me but i don't remember, don't you go to that guy by south gate when you first drop in, right?

There is a guard at each gate that casts signet. I believe they are all Galkas in Bastok. You can tell if signet is active by the icon of the blue crystal at the upper left side of your screen.

so how does it count for them if you die? haha the only reason i had really gotten signet cast on me was cause it seems to make monsters drop more crystals..and I was hawkin all of them for cash hehe but yeah ive died quite a few times with signet on...but ive also killed a hell of alot of monsters....am I helping more? or hurting more? heh

If the beastmen win 10% of the battles or more (by killing PC's), they win control of the region. Otherwise, whichever nation kills the most beastmen in a region wins control of that region.

No control=no crystals.
No crystals=less money earned.
No crystals=less crafted items for us to buy.

I assume that everyone expected the beastmen to win for a while as the influx of new players learned to play. I also assume that people will realize that their death affects everyone and will be more careful when fighting with signet active after they have learned the ropes.

Its still the lowest on the server, and one guy isnt going to make much difference. However, Im trying my best!

so when you die you should get it re-casted on you, correct?

Signet is removed after a certain amount of time. If you have an icon of a blue crystal in the status effect area of your screen (upper left), signet is active. If there is no icon and you want signet active, get it recast.

You should recasat it every time you get, so it stays on.

In my server, we never did bad, even with noobs. We still own all of our land, and are gaining more. I'm telling you, me and six guys camped an area, training and at the same time taking it over.

Funnu enough, we have two Tarutaru in our party. Seems Bastok is the melting pot for FFXI, which should give us an advantage in NvN. We have good fighters of all races, and the same as mages. >p
