i ordered my copy from import madness too. they took the money out of my account pretty soon after i ordered, which is unusual, because they usually do that after the order has been dispatched. but its ok now, cos i think it says that it was sent on 1st Nov, so just afew more days of waiting.....................:sweat:

I cancelled from IM on the 4th. But they took the money out on either the 31st of Oct (I ordered on the 30th), or on the 3rd. I think my bill says the 3rd. But right up until I sent my cancel-email, it still said "shipment - pending" and I had not heard from them.

So now I've cancelled, and yet they still charged me. :(

I think you misunderstood me. There was no sign of it having been shipped in any way. It was still "pending" and I never got an email to say it was shipped either. That's when I cancelled. Cancel was accepted, but I later found out that I had been charged on the 3rd, even though I cancelled on the 4th.

So I don't even have the game. Just this charge on my bill.. :rolleyes:

Hmm. My box arrived empty. 5 Jewel Casses and nothing else.

Taking it to the shop in a few hours and will get a refund and buy it from that shop in Godge Street instead. Apparently the idiot in their online ordering section sent out 3 empty boxes, one to me and two to some guys I had told about Computer Exchange. Luckily I didnt waste the money on express delivery at least.

Not happy that they took the stuff out of the box either, since they could have seen the CD key and such as well and the box is marked as being unsellable if opened. However I know that their normal practice is to store CDs in a safe place whilst the boxes are on the shelves.

importmadness confirmed my shipment today , i shud have in about 3 - 5 days ,
past experiance with order from canada ( ebay ) show that most items sent by normal post take 3 -5 days
so mon-wed of next week :D

Sorry, I mentioned this in another thread, but not here. I emailed 2-3 times over last 2 days and in my last one explained that I would let my cc company know about this situation seeing as I had not heard anything from IM at all.

They sent an email back, and have refunded the charge. So yeah, it's sorted out. :)
