Hardware TnL

Whenever I try to play, it pops up saying

"Terminated as error occured in FINAL FANTASY XI. Failed to recongnize Hardware TnL.
Please check the computer has the required specifications to run FINAL FANTASY XI.(-1)"

What does it mean? I need a better graphic card or something?
Please help. Or leave an opinion.
