i have an SiS 650 graphic card. i NO its not on the list but does that REALLY matter. im not sure how good this card is. but some1 has got to help me. have any of you played FFXI with a graphic card that wasnt on the list. if u have any idea im me on "under estimat3d" add me to you buddy list if im not on plz

Geforce FX isn't on the list and it works...

You MUST get the benchmark(s) for FFXI.
Then you'll know...

Go to the computer part of the forum...
They have I link I believe.

If it's a bad score or you can't play it..
New Vid card.. and/or
maybe a piece of your computer isn't compatible or is not good enough for FFXI.

and if you can't even run the benchmark(like me) then you most likely won't be able to run FFXI:o

The SIS 650 is integreded in a Pentium 4 motherboard. Not sure if it's in a laptop or desktop but either way it's bad. You really should run the benchmark but I doubt you meet minimum requirements to run FFXI. Integreded video chipsets are very bad and sis always had horrible performance, you really should look into upgrading to at least a ATI 9000pro or Nvidia 5200fx if you have a desktop. Both are quite cheap.

alright....now i got the bench d/l but when i try to play it, it either says 1607:unable to install installshield scripting runtime....or direct3d....and a then a bunch of weird letters.

It means your card cannot run the game. get a new one for like 50$ on ebay if you are broke and desperate.
