so if we are playingon japanese servers... and can switch worlds, and only difference between japanese version, and english version, is their translation..
does that mean there WILL be already max level players playing in our servers?
or does that mean there will be servers which they can switch, and some they cannot? and start off all new?

hmm

there are old servers with max level people. if you go to these servers then yea there will be max level people

there are new servers openning too if you go to these servers you'lll get a nice clean world (which i think you'll started here by default)

heres a question, lets say i import the US version of ffxi (cos i live in the UK) cud i move servers 2 the europe servers wen FFXI comes out of here?

all servers are located in japan. I don't know the names of the new servers for NA release... but for sure they will also be located in japan.

I doubt if there will be europe servers. they probably just going to open new servers in japan for european release as well (if they will release european version at all...)

ok then, well i have it rdy right this second to order FFXI from gamestop. shud i do it? i have read that they do ship 2 the uk and i will have to pay more, but cud u have a look and make sure everything will be ok with my order b4 a do it please?

Just for future reference, does Gamestop ship to Australia? If not, what other online gaming stores do, that will have FFXI?

I plan on getting it before Christmas.

I don't know where the servers will be but the customer support is in san diego, the people at sony will be handleing it. One of my friends who works over there is being transfered to FFXI from Planetside. I don't know if the servers are in america, or with the same servers as eq/planetside/swg etc.

A question I have similar to this is server selection only available at character creation? You can't move servers after you create/level a character ca you? o.O that'd be sweet for reconnecting with all the friends I've made in beta, but I've only played beta so I don't know how it works.
