Mnks second belt

I heard that there is a quest to where you can get the monks second belt. A Purple belt. The stats were(from what I remember) +2 str, 3 def(may be wrong) and 5% haste. I also heard that you had to kill either Lumbering Lambert and Rampaging Ram, or Lambert and Tremor Ram, or Lambert and Steelfleece, or Rampage etc.... anyways, can anyone confirm who you have to kill in order to get the items for this belt or is there another mnk only belt out there that we can get?

Also what is your opinion on Mnk AF weapon-Beat Cesti compared to Impact Knuckles? I'm approaching lvl 40 so I want to get these AF items(armor,legging,feet,hands,head) for monks, can anyone help or give suggestions on getting the AF armor and this belt?

To get the Purple Belt, you need the horns from Lumbering Lambert and Rampaging Ram. Bloodtear and Steelfleece are NOT the same thing as some people in beta claim.

As for AF1/Impact Knucks...
I own both, and use them for different purposes.
The Dexterity boost adds a little accuracy. You also have about a half a second less delay time. Damage is on average 1hp less on af, but since you hit more often dmg/time is better. VIT+2 increases effectiveness of Chakra - add a couple of Amber rings and earrings and a good macro and you increase Chakra healing a fair amount. Personally, the difference in damage that The Impact Knucksles offers seems a lot less than the difference in accuracy, so I'm using the Beat Cesti for most fighting. I use the Impact Knuckles for BCNM40 and Tough NM fights wher i have haste and a bards acc up songs.

Almost time for some new h2hs though. I want to try the Tactician Magician's Hooks. Icky delay, but crazy strong. Takes me farther down the path of DRK though...

the horns bloodtear/steelface are the same as the one lambert/rampaging drop, just need to find a group hunting them u can get to give u the horns :) .
impact knucks, lol well unless ur 2hring dont use em either use lynx or maybe himantes if u have a hard time hitting the baddies.

While it may be true that Steelfleece and Bloodtear drop the same horns, they are not the same monster, which is what some people are saying. This quest can be soloed at about lv 40. You do not need a party of Level 50+s to get the purple belt. There was a person with the purple belt long before anyone beat Steelfleece or Bloodtear.

A quick search on the forum or NM site reveals that Lumbering Lambert and Rampaging Ram are Lv. 27～28. Steelfleece and Bloodtear are 55～56. (roughly 2x higher)
