no after buying the game(the harddrive aswell if u r using the ps2) it is $13 a month +$1 for every extra character u make+$1 for tetra master(the card game)if u want to play it u dont have to

the last official announcement i read said that you do but that was about a month or so ago so i cant say for sure. i doubt they would have taken it away tho but i'd be glad if i was wrong:o

I wonder if you made a 2nd character just to see if you like it better and then deleted the character the next day if you would be charged that $1 :).

he ment that for the free month you will not be charged the extra dollor and yes you will be charged the dollor for the character even if you only use it for a day
