im looking to import the jp version of ffxi, i live in the us though. how can i register to play and live in the us? does it matter?

You should save your money honestly..

The game is out on October 29th in English, and it will be half price for that as well..

It was $96 for ffxi and the expansion (from himeya, about the only site I could find to import)

Unless you're dead set on having Japanese (because you know it etc) or won the lottery, it's not worth it.
