FFXI on diff. OS

I've been benchmarking my computer for sometime now and i always get 600 score, i know it sucks because its been 2 years now since i bought my computer.

here are my specs.

P4 1.7
512 ram
geforce 2 mx 400
os: windows mellenium

now i just changed my OS to windows 2000 pro and my score jumped from 600 to 940+:eek: , windows me really is holding back my computer. so to let you know guys REPLACE YOUR OPERATING SYSTEM if you have a WINDOWS ME.

and by the way how is ATI AIW 7500 64M in my computer running FFXI, and you think will it last for 2 more years in my computer for future games. and what else you recommend to upgrade for a cheap tight wallet like me.
