Best Starting Job

but I really would appreciate peoples opinions on the BEST starting job - I just cannot make my mind up...:handsdown

There is no best it depends what you want to be later on.

ohh - I really dunno! I really like being able to attack phsyically but I'm also really into the idea of being a summoner/bard or dark knight/ninja....the list goes on really but they would be my mains! could you actually be a dark knight/summoner or ninja/bard?! sounds like a crazy combo huh?!:confused:

Sorry but those are bad combos, what you should do is decide what you want to do in the party:

Tank: Take hits for the PT.
fighter: you want to cause damage
healer: you want to heal your PT
Support: buffing your PT etc...

Don't try to make uber guys just be really good at one thing. Tell me which of those 4 you find the most appealing and I'll give you some good jobs.

Awww...Easy Sirius. But really DRK/Ninja wouldn't work becuase Duel Wield wouldn't come into place. DRK's best weapon is a Scythe.

Well if you want to be a fighter now.... you can either be..

Thief
Monk
Warrior

So what you can do is play around with those jobs to see what bests fits you ;)

i like monk or black mage...everything in begining of game is so easy for them to solo....:thumbsup: monks get to attack 2x faster then any other melee...and stone (which u start off with in ur mog house) can take half of a rabbits hp away or more in 1 cast..but it really does all depend on what u wannna be later in game.....

Sirius I find the idea of support/fighter pretty appealing - I am currently a warrior in game, but I can of course change jobs and lvl up as other things:)

monk does sound good - but no swords etc which I like... although claws are pretty cool!!

What would you say to DRK/DRG combo?:confused:

i gonna be a monk/warrior until level 30...then switch to drk/monk..more hp and damage bonus's with the monk's skills...and monks own in valkrum dunes

if ur elvaan or galka i would say warrior because to me, warrior is the most basic u can get. If you are hume, i would say red mage. Mithra i think u can argue between warrior and red mage. Taru should be either white or black. (but to me, thats a bit more advanced) i think red mage would be the best to start off cause u experience melee fighting, black magic, and white magic.
