Jobs using the Club(Mace).

I ask this to only those who know for sure:
I was wondering how good Clubs are vs 1H Swords over all:
I ask this because War, Wht and Pal look to be pretty good with this weapon(vauge stats from www.Shadow-Dragons.com). I'm already guessing the 1H Swords will do more Dam, but by far more?
Are the WS's any good for the Club(Dam and otherwise)?
As of now, I'm thinking of starting as an Elvaan War, then Wht/War, then either Pal/Wht, or Pal/War, depending on what's needed most for the Pty(I know Elvaans don't have much in the way of MPs but with the Club I can gain back MPs from the Club's Lev 100 Start Light).

So, would the Club be the way to go since they can all use it and would easily Lev it up because of that (also being that it does worth while Dam in an Elvaan's hands), or should I just stick with the 1H Swords(Balanced Dam dealers for both War and Pal), and only use a Club when I'm a Wht? :confused:
(As a note I plan on using all kinds of Jobs but War, Wht and Pal will be my main focus from the start.)

In general, the clubs i've seen are decent damage, long delay. To me, it only makes since to level your club skill if you like having all of your skills capped, or if you intend to spend a lot of time playing whm.

It looks as though focusing on the Club isn't the way to go(though it may have it's nice uses). Unless theres something I'm missing(given the jobs that I plan on focusing on) 1H swords seem to be the way to go. :thumbsup:
