is it worth making a seperate thief?

I am planning to play as a Galkan- Sam/War. i definitely want to be able to steal stuff ill need for him, so i was wondering, should i start another character (a mithra thief) or should i just use my Galka as my theif. would a mithra be that much better, and would it take too much time to raise 2 characters at once? (im guessing so).

You can do as you like, but inless you plan on leveling both characters then go ahead. Mithra Thief rocks though ^^;;

it's a useless sub until your main is level 60.

And why do so many people hate warrior?
Warrior is the overall most balanced melee job and has a ton of good passive and active abilities.
Subbing samurai is doing nothing for you, I suggest leveling another sub.

At level 30 I don't think you'd even be able to touch me.

19 levels only takes about 4 days.

And I never said taunt, there are other things that warriors can do.

Thieves should be subbing ninja....period. All others would be a waste.

EDIT: Oh, and to stay on topic.....unless you're truely dedicated, it is a serious pain in the ass to level 2 characters. For one character, you have to do quests for fame (to do RSE, various others), do sub job quest, chocobo quest, adv job quests, exp job quests, missions, leveling weapons, leveling supports, making money for EQ and what not, and countless other things. Now imagine having to do that for 2 characters. Not worth the time and hassle.

it eill benefit more if you level only 1 character. having more jobs level up ready to use as sub or main at anytime you like is very very useful and add more fun stuff to your character.

let's say you already got 60 SAM, using sam/thf to make money is wayyyy better than to level THF with a new char from scratch :3

actually I thought of saying sub ninja but I didn't remember it until I already pressed post, and didn't feel like posting again to say that ninja was a good sub for thf.

Seul said to stay on topic :P and my topics were kind of spam and not related to the actual topic. Anywho someone mentioned something before about Ninja for sub of Thief which I DO like. I would prefer that over Samurai but I haven't gotten Ninja yet so I can't sub that.
