Erm what is FFXI Battle Type?

Well, I've just seen videos and from what I can tell it looks like some boss battle can be pseudo-turnbased while other battles are like any other MMO almost. But again...that's what I derived from just watching videos... I'm not privy to play beta haha.

No it's not turn based. How fast each person attacks is based on their weapon delay which is different from weapon to weapon. Different things such as haste can make you attack faster, but for the most part, it's weapon delay. Boss battles are the exact same thing as regular battles.

Hmm, just took a guess from a boss video and was off lol. Dang I really need in the game. I'm such a newb to it. :( Thanks for the info Bishop. :thumbsup:
