JoeBiscuit, I think the price for the PS2 version is incorrect. The HDD and the game are being bundled as well and can be bought together. I think the price is anywhere from 80-120 dollars but do not quote me on that. The game itself should only be about 50.00. So I thought you might want to add the price of the bundle on your website as well.

Hook me up to the link where you can buy that bundle and I'll stick her up. The current price for the PS2 version was found here:http://ebgames.com/ebx/product/182338.asp I haven't seen any other prices yet or the bundles. Let me know if you find some stores bundling or selling for lower prices. ;)

Hmm, I think FFXI for the PS2 doesn't come out until the Spring of 2004. A lot of video game magazine are saying that now. I read EGM, PSM & Game Informer. I also heard that the HDD isn't due till the spring... maybe that's why it's been moved. :eek:

You could be right but as of now the HDD is on track for Feb 2004, at least that is what I have heard. I know it says January but when the PC version was scheduled for Oct 29th they said the PS2 would be Feb (somewhere around the 6th), but it's all speculation right now. Let's hope nothing upsets the time slots anymore.

Thats right around my birthday....Which is why i think February is the perfect month to release FFXI...Ahem.:sweat:

It appears that PCI works fine if you tone down the settings. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. IF HL2 works with PCI then FFXI should work with PCI.

Me and my friend were so excited about the game that we made up an imaginary guild called "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything." Because the game isn't out. I have my counter on my desktop. How is this done? Easily;

1. Get the code (in previous posts from someone else, I believe on page 2) and save it as whateveryouwant.html
2. make sure you save it on your comuputer, and remember where you put it.
Now this is for XP, if not using XP I believe that 2000, ME and 98 are the only ones who can do this;
3. Right click your desktop, go to properties
4. XP: Go to the tab 'desktop' and click customize desktop, go to the tab web
98/ME: Go to the tab 'web'
5. Click 'new' and find that file on your saved easlier..
6. hit ok
7. make sure that 'lock desktop items' (XP Only) is not checked if you want to move the counter...
hit okay, okay, or whatever the case may be

...and you have your counter on the desktop!:)
