Confused, Please answer a few questions..

Hello, I am thinking if I should pre-order FFXI from Japan, I am living in UK ATM... I am in no particular ''rush'' to get the game, but say I do get the Japanese version, and I play it and level a character, then When the release of the US version ( OCtober 29'th, am i right about this?) will I be able to switch to an american server or will they be seperate than the japanese? Cus after all, i am not japanese and I can't speak it..

thanks for any info, also I scored 5200 on benchmark, will that run the game at 90% optimacy or what? Thanks for the help.

I would wait for the NA release , i am also in UK ATM , i have pre-ordered from gamestop , ONLY £42 ( inc P&P ) i thought that was cheap ,
oh and anything above 5000 on the bench mark is 100% optimal efficiency
