Pre-Ordered NA, Woot!!

Well...I was on my weekly stroll of the mall (not really weekly actually...)...And i walked into Electronics Boutique (Which is where I will be working in a week, YEAH!!)...And noticed that the employees were talkin about FFXI.

So, I walk over to them, and they are talking about the release date right. So I ask them when itis, turns out, Release date for NA version, here in calgary/canada, is October 29th...I've got it pre-ordered, and all payed for already. hehe...yay!

So yeah...thought that anyone who didn't know that, and was wondering about release dates, might like to hear that. 2 months or so, and we'll have NA version of FFXI!

It's been known since around E3, that that was the release date. PS2 is Q1.

The onlything is, are they going to come out with a special edition like they did in Jp? I'd like one. It would be cool if they had info about the making of the game, art, T-shirt, all that fun stuff...Sigh...I hope they do, yet there's no sign in sight that says they will that I know of. :confused:

um ya i just order it yesterday and it comes with a 30 day prepaid thing a mouse pad (oh ya ) :thumbsup: and the Rise of the Zilart expansion pack so when it comes out 10/28/03 i will see you on the battle ground one more thing that was from eb that was there deal i dont know about the other places

By 30 day pre - paid thing what do you mean? You get a free month no matter what.

I don't plan on pre - ordering, I'm just buying it when it comes out.

Where can u preorder FFXI? I looked everywhere and i could only preorder FFX-2 in november. (Lol I'l think I'll leave FFX-2 in the dust a wile and be lvl 20 in 2 weeks in FFXI)

I've used gamstop for 2 MMO's, AC2 and SWG, and I have recieved them on release day around noon. ;)

Can't vouch for EB. That's why i'm sticking with Gamestop. They haven't failed me yet lol. ;)
