how poor are ranger's really? is so poor they cant buy supplies or armor they need? or is just not enough to buy everyhting u want kind of thing? and doesnt it get cheaper in a way as a higher lvl ranger cuz u miss less and could prolly make ur own ammo?:spin:

Not that I'm poor or anything, but purchasing ammunition and RNG EQ (which is not that common, hence more expensive than not) has put a substancial dent in my funds :sweat:

I only bought arrows twice. I made them all. What use is the Scavenger ability if you don't put it to good use?

That would make sense and sounds really cool Killing with what you made with your own hands. LOL. I was thinking of going Ranger/White mage since I'm level 10 white right now but not sure. Thylteev you think you can give advise on that either by PM or something. I would really like to have your input on how you are doing.

ranger wh. mage is a bad combo no offense. the ranger is there to attack and the faster you attack the faster you will kill. there shouldnt be much time for spells. you wouldnt get much mp either with a wh. mage subjob. its useless

No offense to you, then, but you may have not noticed that I was on Cactuar, the beta test server. By the time I got the ranger job I just wanted to try it. If I were to do the quests for the jobs I wanted as support jobs and then level them up I wouldn't have had a whole lot of time, at all, to try out the ranger job. It was a time constraint.

yea but who said anything about a rush job. i could take all the time in the world to do this. ffxi isnt just gonna pack up and leave

Uhh, well, it did for me. Cactuar was the beta server. It was going to pack up and leave, which was why I didn't bother leveling up any other support job.

haha well i guess unless one of the main servers just gets wiped out then we should be ok for now
