Now ive finally gotten to understand the main/sub job system. I still have a question about people who list multiple subjobs. i.e. 30 war/15 thf/10wmg/5bmg. I dont understand how you can be multiple jobs. In real life can someone be a brain surgeon/police officer/paramedic/technician? I kno its just a game but you get my point...

1.IS IT 18 or 30 to be able to get a sub job?
2.Do main/sub jobs coexist with eachother? i.e. if your main is a warr and your sub is a whm, will your warrior be able to cast some white magic while playing him as your main?
3. HOW is it that people have multiple jobs? Do they switch their main or sub with another job in the Mog House?

Question 1: In order to recieve the quest that allows you to take a sub-job, you must be level 18.

Level 30 is for Advanced Jobs.

Question 2: Yeppers, that's the entire point of the sub-job system.

Question 3: This process is done at your mog house.

Out in the killing fields, people have 1 main 1 sub. The rest are stored away at the mog house.

thanks guys! that helps alot....just one more question since ive figured out jobs coexist....if im a sam/nin would i be able to use ninjas duel wield to use two katanas at once? THat be super cool. i dont kno if u can do it tho-im thinkin bout bein sam/nin. Thanks again!

Yeah. That's why lots of people sub ninja, so they can dual wield.

I'm not exactly sure about this, but aren't katanas two handed? You're only allowed to dual wield one handed stuff correct?

Samurai's use two handed katakana and Ninja's use the one handed katakana. But I heard Sam/Nin was terrible :P I was going to do that but I heard alot of bad stuff about it. You can't duel two one handed Katakanas ---- That Samurai's use.

lol I've had to edit this three times ..it's alittle confusing but you should be able to get it.
