I've seen this question asked before in one form or another, but it was never really answered. Basically, I'd like to know how the conquest system works. Yes I've read the manual, and I understand the basics of it. But I'd like a little more detail. For example, are "region points" (what actually goes towards the tally) and "conquest points" (what your character gets) directly related? Are they actually the same thing, or are they calculated differently? Let's say my character is lvl 20, and I'm fighting monsters that are "too weak to be worthwhile". I don't get any experience, and I'm pretty sure I can't get conquest points either, but will killing the monster help gain control of that region in any way? Here's another hypothetical. Say my lvl 20 character is fighting monsters that are easy prey. Now say a lvl 17 character is fighting the same monsters, only for him they are decent or even. Does he get more conquest and/or region points than I do even though it's the same monster? This would seem to be the case from what I've seen, but I'm not really sure. If anyone really knows how this works please explain it to me.
By the way, this knowledge would be extremely useful at the moment, because on the server I'm playing on (beta server) the beastmen are now dominant in EVERY region, even the newb ones. Which means no crystals for anyone soon. It would be nice to know how this works so I could better organize a retaliation :)
