Hello,

I need to find a link or synopsis about what stats determine weapon damage and armor defense for a samurai. I am assuming that although all races are viable there is still one or two races that better accentuate a samurai's strengths.

For stats, I was wondering if anyone here can tell me which stats are most useful for a samurai.

My guess would be:

Strength (For damage ratio?)
Vitality (Tanking Ability?)
Dexterity (Hit-to-miss ratio?)
Agility (Evade ability?)

From reading the boards, I'm guess Samurais will wear either Lighter Heavy Plate than Paladins or Dark Knights, but also possible a Medium or Light armor type allowing for greater attack speed and less delay?

Samurai's are supposed to be swift compared to a towering juggernaut....are they not?

Strength - Ammount of damage done
Elvaan have the best STR of the races slightly edging out Galka

Vitality - How well you can take a hit
Galka are slightly better than Elvaan here, but there HP plus also boosts them above. An since SAM AF generates hate you need VIT.

Dexterity - Your chances of avoiding "dodging" an attack
Not as useful as the others, since SAMs can take a hit reasonably well, but it doesn't hurt. Mithra's are definately the best here.

Agility - Is acctually your accuracy/how often you miss
Again, Mithra are good here

All in all race doesn't make a huge difference (unless your a Taru then you'll notice) simply put:

-Elvaan do more damage but get hit more but miss more

-Mithra do less damage but get hit less and hit more

-Galka don't care if they get hit do good damage and dodge more than Elvaan

-Hume balance of all not weak or strong anywhere.

Just choose what you like.
