What happens to armor

When you switch jobs, and your new job cannot use the armor you are wearing, where does it go?

Ex - I am a paladin in heavy armor with a sword and a shield, i go to my mog house and switch to a bard, a job that can't use the heavy armor or shield. Does this equipment get dropped in the mog house? or does it just disappear until to switch back to a paladin and then magically appear on my body again?

what happens is if your job and or level is not appropriate it will auto unequip. Also if you switch back to main job that can wear said armor it will auto re-equip.
When you switch jobs and you CANNOT wear the armor/items it goes into inventory. From there you can put into mog house , If im close to level ill take armor with me so when I level up i can wear it . Then i make equip macros to put them on with having to stop fighting if we get a link.
