War/rng?

If i choose WAR/RNG will i be able to use the RNG's bow & arrow? The reason i believe i believe its a good choice is because the stat calculator, Any answer is appreciated. Thanks!

WAR/RNG is a nice combo since WARs have access to almost all the bows (minus RNG onlys)...granted, you won't hit as hard with ranged attacks (RNG will be 1/2 effective main lvl), but that aside, it's a welcome addition to the WAR repretoire...
also, as long as RNG is either main or sub, you'll have access to the RNG WSs, like Sidewinder XD

I'd challenge you to show me how much you'd actually use your ranger skills, because you wouldn't be doing near the amount of damage with your bow as your melee weapons. Who wants to party with somebody who uses weapons he's not as good at? In my opinion, you're either melee or long range. Or course, warriors can use many bows, but what would subbing ranger do? It wouldn't give you more skill in bows, so you'd do the same amount of damage with bows as you would if you had something else equipped.

WAR/RNG is useless unless you are using the RNG for NM hunting with Scan. Other than that my friend tried this combo, you seriously gymp your War, you loose alot of your attacking STR, and loose alot of you Defenses. You really gain nothing, if you want to use RNG i sudgest using it as your main, Ranger is a really bad subjob.

If you want a better combo you can pick Ranger/Warrior but this is just me :rolleyes:
