weird question

Ok, me and my brother want to play this game. We have a wireless DSL, and 2 PS2s now do we both have to start our own account or can we just add a second character to one and still play at the same time? Also, with DSL can we both connect at the same time? thanks

it depends...

If your leased line goes through a bonafide Router (linksys, netgear, etc) which designates seperate IPs for your home LAN based on MAC address and functions as WAN bridge, then you should be able to. If you multiplex using a shared IP, however, you might not be able to. A lot of game servers don't like multiple users connecting from the same IP. Ragnarok Online for example, will kick a user using a certain IP if someone else with the same IP tries to log on...

if your allowed to play the game with different IP, would you see both yourself. I tought that having the same name in a sever ins't allowed at all.
