well I know Taru Taru's dont make the best samurai's but that doesnt stop me from being one I just wanted to know what disadvantages and advantages am I looking at and have you seen a Taru in Samurai AF yet if so post a pic?

The reasons are obvious, they lack in HP and STR. This does not deter me from being one, I'm going to concentrate on evasion rather than pure strength and HP. Therefore I am going to sub a thief to ensure that I don't get hit as much and wear evasion/agi buff items. IT can be done, and I'll prove it, blah. I'm a bit torn between a Samurai and a dragoon, we will see.

It's true, Taru don't make the best race for any melee class. However, they do a damn good job with samurai. You're on the right lines in thinking about dex and accuracy but really as far as agi and evade go, i wouldn't waste the effort in ballancing out my evade as no matter what you do it will never be your steller stat. i'll get some pics of some taru samurai for you guys here shortly cuz believe it or not there's quite a few in the higher levels.
